Palm Springs
California, USA
Overview
Palm Springs started as a desert hideaway where Hollywood stars came to escape the LA-madness in 1920s and 1930s (and I totally understand why!) It's hands down our favorite vacation spot as a family, and we literally come back every year! Its mid-century vibes and “slow and steady” pace appeal to both parents and little kids, allowing everyone to actually feel like they're on vacation. With plenty of kid-friendly eating & drinking and tons of resorts, you’ll know why we keep coming back to this retro-funky desert oasis.

Kid-Friendly Eating & Drinking
Palm Springs enjoys over 350 days of sunshine annually with a desert climate (hotter days / cooler nights).
Best Months for Minis: October - April
Daytime temperatures: 70-85°F, perfect for pool time, outdoor activities and stroller walks. Minimal rainfall and comfortable evenings. This is also a peak time so make sure you book hotels in advance.
Avoid Peak Summer Months: May - September
Daytime temperatures: 90-115°F. Early morning and evening activities work best for young kids to avoid overheating & a resort with a pool and air-conditioning is a MUST for staying cool. There are fewer crowds during this period so chances of getting a great rate is high!
